Authorised users may access the centralised workspace from inside the courtroom, at their desks, or whilst away from the office.
Manage cases more effectively and securely
Enable all team members to access one common set of documents from anywhere and manage cases more effectively with unique collaborative features. Workspaces are wrapped in state-of-the art security featuring ISO:27001 certification, Uptime Institute Tier III certification and SSAE 16 accreditation.
Significant time and cost savings
Electronic trials dramatically simplify proceedings and offer significant cost savings. Opus 2 Magnum reduces the use of paper and associated printing costs. Additionally, the service saves paralegal and lawyer time by streamlining case preparation and trial management.
Eliminate cumbersome bundle updates
Opus 2 Magnum is a state-of-the-art workspace that eliminates the need to print and regularly update expensive hardcopy sets. All content and work product is dynamic -- making couriers and time consuming lever arch inserts unnecessary.
Mirrors how lawyers work with paper
Our collaborative tools present a digital environment that mimics how professionals work on paper. Users can make notes for themselves, hyperlink between documents, share ideas with fellow users, organise content according to their own preferences, task individuals, and monitor progress.
Annotate and collaborate across any content
Easy to use functionality enables legal teams to quickly tag, annotate and collaborate. Centralise the team's analysis and build upon one another's insights in real-time, sharing work product in one click.
Create hyperlinks between related content
Team members can create hyperlinks between documents and transcripts (or sections of documents and transcripts) to memorialise the connections they have discovered. Fellow members of the workspace can review those relationships at any time and benefit from their colleague's analysis.
Our ground-breaking Opus 2 Magnum technology is the cornerstone of our electronic hearing service. Opus 2 Magnum is a private cloud-based service from which solicitors, barristers and experts, view transcripts and documents and collaborate on work product for applications, trial preparation and at the hearing itself.
The comprehensive Opus 2 Magnum service encompasses everything from trial bundles to Electronic Presentation of Evidence to enabling off-site team members to listen to live courtroom proceedings. Our team overcomes the logistical hurdles that every major trial presents, and our software and services easily scale to the needs of smaller matters.
Our experts will consult with you and configure all the equipment in the hearing room to your requirements. In any case, an electronic trial from Opus 2 International reduces costs, adds considerable efficiencies and dramatically reduces the dependence upon paper.
Manage and share electronic trial bundles
Opus 2 Magnum is a private online workspace from which to create, update and share electronic trial bundles. With an Internet-connected device, the entire team gains access from anywhere to the documents, transcripts, web research, bundles and work product for the case, as well as tools to annotate and collaborate across the materials. Whether you work independently or collaboratively, the workspace always contains the latest content and insight, including hearing transcripts and EPE documents if you utilise those services.Featured Video
Receive realtime transcripts in your workspace
Opus 2 Magnum is a sophisticated portal to your live hearings and trials. You may access the entire live proceedings from anywhere -- not just from within the hearing room. The service connects all authorised participants to an online workspace populated with streaming transcript text and a variety of tools to collaborate with fellow participants during live proceedings. At the conclusion of the day's session, Opus 2 synchronises the audio from the live session to the final transcript. All participants, regardless of their locations, may log in to re-live any moment from the day's proceedings.Featured Video
Display evidence electronically at the hearing
Opus 2's Electronic Presentation of Evidence (EPE) service displays presented documents alongside the realtime transcript text and, for clients using our Opus 2 Magnum Bundle service, alongside their bundles and work product from the weeks or months leading up to trial. Opus 2's EPE Officer attends every trial day to manage all electronic aspects, including calling up the actual documents for you, but also formatting the evidence for optimal display, coordinating the technical setup and placing monitors in strategic locations throughout the courtroom. The service accelerates proceedings and helps the judge or tribunal to focus on the substance of the evidence rather than on locating it.Featured Video
Manage work product
Opus 2 Magnum workspaces includes simple functionality to add colour-coded tags, links to related content, and notes to documents and transcripts. Choose which of those annotations to share with other members of the team, either individuals or sub-groups such as "barristers" or "experts." Those with whom the note has been shared can then reply with their own insights.Featured Video
