The London Pre-Moot is an annual event that brings together students worldwide to participate in a simulated arbitration competition in preparation for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.
This year’s edition was especially noteworthy due to the use of electronic bundles provided by Opus 2 using the Opus 2 Hearings solution. These e-bundles allowed the arbitrators to access all the case materials and relevant documents in a digital format, making navigating the evidence easier and communicating with fellow arbitrators. The technology was beneficial and made the arbitration process much smoother and more efficient.
Opus 2 and its team were delighted to cooperate with such an incredible event. The London Pre-Moot provides a rare opportunity for students to hone their arbitration skills while bringing the arbitral community together.
The International Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC) hosted the London Pre-Moot. At the same time, Fox Williams LLP and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators organised the competition and their commitment to promoting and advancing arbitration to resolve disputes is genuinely admirable and evident throughout the event.
